Star Micronics TSP242 Thermal Label Printer - The TSP242-24 can be used as a compact budget thermal receipt printer or high-quality barcode coupon printer. It offers fast 2 inches / 50 mm per second print speed, features dual serial and parallel interface, Star and ESC / POS emulations and semi-automatic paper loading plus selectable paper widths (76 or 80 mm). Typical applications include silent receipt printing (restaurants, libraries, etc.); quality receipt printing (POS system / Credit Card authorization); barcode coupon printing (supermarkets); entrance ticket receipt printing (museums, theatres, cinemas, etc.). System flexibility is assured by the standard Centronics and RS232C interface (D-SUB 9 pin connector). The dual interface and cash drawer connector are cleverly hidden in the recess underneath the printer for tidy cable management.
